Slugcity at Slugfest 2003
A dedicated group of Slugs and Snails committed to celebrating all things Slug.
It all started innocently enough. A group of misguided youth who were anointed "Slugs" due to their appearing only after dark on warm summer nights.
It was the era of CB communication and handles were all important. There was Pianoman, Lucky Dog, Pan, Natas, Jailbird, Flippo, Cadillac Man, Jailbait, Hellraiser to name few. Then it was fate of sorts that put it all together:
We had a name. And some 30+ years later that name rings true. Slugcity is alive and well. Through thick and thin we have remained friends.
Of course we have added new friends, wives and husbands and of course Sluglings. And we are always looking for new Slugs and Snails to join us in our merriment.

Because after 30+ years, we've discovered Boone's Farm Sangria truly is the nectar of the gods—especially when paired with paint can! Some friendships fade, but Slugcity endures (much like that mysterious money stain in the dryer). Where else can grown adults justify reminiscing about that time in 2003 when, well... you know! In SlugFest years, we're all 21 and our livers are HAPPY!
